We were very happy indeed, my kilt was fantastic, definitely added something special to the and received a lot of good comments. And Ray did a fantastic job with the bagpipe playing. Several people commented that his playing of the march in tune really created a stirring atmosphere and most importantly my Scottish mum thought he played excellently.

Many thanks for your help Chin Hong, I'm not sure how we would have pulled off the Scottish flavour without you and it really made the day special.

The party guests, many of whom were Scottish couldn't believe that there was a pipe band who were able to play to that standard, even existed in Singapore.  Everyone was very impressed with their professionalism (especially my husband Nick for whom it was a complete surprise) and I have no doubt that we, amongst others will definitely be hiring them in future.  They were fantastic.  Thank you all for making Nick's 40th birthday one to remember for ever....

Vincent & I were very pleased with the piper (Jack) Chin Hong provided at our wedding.  Jack piped our bridal party and Felinda down the aisle with wonderful renditions of “Scotland The Brave?and “Highland Cathedral? They brought a bit of Scotland to Singapore which meant a lot for Vincent’s family and friends who flew a long way to be with us on our special day.  Chin Hong and Jack went the extra mile to ensure that the music was at its best and also played more tunes than we had requested.  We would strongly recommend Chin Hong to anyone who’s looking to hire a piper in Singapore ?they are hard enough to come by as it is, but Chin Hong and his boys do it well!

I came to know about Highland Supplies through internet. My wish was to acquire Highland Bagpipe. So I wrote an e-mail and within short time I got a reply from Mr.Wong. The Girls' Brigade, 45th Company at RGS started a Bagpipe Band in 2002.  Much research had to be done before the idea could be launched.  In this area, the 45th has Highland Supplies to thank for its invaluable assistance.  The company, as represented by Chin Hong first offered advice on the requirement needed to start such a band.  Information like the number and kinds of instrument one had to have to get started was freely given by Highland Supplies.  Consultations and visits to the school were initially by Chin Hong to help the band along.  There were also regular updates of new supplies given via email.  The informal partnership has been of great help to a fledging band like ours.  We hope that Highland Supplies will continue to provide the support as Shirim, our band grows from strength to strength.
