PB3	Bannatyne Hide Zipper Pipebag. The Bannatyne Hide Zipper bag with moisture retention sleeve provides the under arm feel of a traditional skin bag but with the added enhancements of moisture control. The bag is fitted with an airtight zip, easy to fit rubber collars and a sawan nect which provides a comfortable playing position.
PB4	Gannaway Pipebg. Tying-in: All bags have swan necks for a clear airflow to the chanter and come with stock holes already cut for easier fitting. Tying-in string is supplied along with a small bottle of leather primer and full instructions. Maintenance and Dressing: When in dry conditions it is necessary to check the bag every two or three weeks and dress the bag as required. Use our Highlander Dressing or a glycerine-based dressing only. Glycerine attracts moisture and having it inside the bag means it takes the moisture from the air to the wall of the bag where it can be dispensed through the leather. Going to the other extreme, where pipes are being blown for longish periods in wet conditions, the bag will take up a lot of moisture. In this situation the outside of the bag will become damp. For even greater control of moisture, fit a tube style water trap. If the pipe bag is being blown three or four times a week in a moderate climate the bag will only need checking for leaks every six to eight weeks, and even then it may still not need any dressing. When the bag is tight, even if it hasn't been dressed for some time, do not put any more dressing in. If it is being blown at only once a week check it about every month.	by D&M Gannaway Sizes: Small 9 3/4", Medium 10 1/2", Large 11 1/2" Feature: These bags are uniquely different from any other leather bags. The leather used is cowhide, but the difference starts in the way it is tanned. We have over the years developed our own formula for tanning based on water-soluble materials. This allows moisture to pass through the leather - similar to, but not to the same degree - that happens with the sheepskin bag. After the basic tanning at the tannery the leather is toggled and finished in our factory. With the leather tanned in this way Gannaway bags work well in all conditions. Shape: The shape of the bags has been modified and improved for over 25 years making them immediately comfortable for most people. The seams are double glued and guaranteed for the life of the bag. This eliminates one of the traditional maintenance areas, stitch holes.
